About Orangutan:

    • They are great apes, native to  Indonesia and Malaysia.
    • Only found in  the islands of Borneo and Sumatra.
    • They  live among the trees of tropical rainforests.
    • There are 3 species of orangutan. The Bornean, the Sumatran and the recently confirmed new species (as of 2017), the Tapanuli. 
  • IUCN Status: Critically Endangered.
