Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport, T2, wins special prize at UNESCO’s 2023 Prix Versailles.
Key Points:
- Terminal 2 (T2) has been recognised as one of the world’s most beautiful airports for interiors at the UNESCO’s 2023 Prix Versailles.
- T2, also known as Terminal in a Garden, is based on ecological and environmental stewardship as well as a celebration of the rich cultural and historical legacy of Karnataka.
- Prior to starting operations, T2 was pre-certified by the US Green Building Council with a Platinum LEED rating.
