Uttar Pradesh gets awarded Ayushmann Utkrishta award 2022

For adding more healthcare facilities to the health facility record, Uttar Pradesh was given the Ayushmann Utkrisht Award 2022 today. With 28728 new facilities added to the National Health Facility Register, Uttar Pradesh is the nation’s best-performing State. Additionally, the State has approximately two crores of ABH Accounts, making it the second best State for generating Ayushmann Bharat health accounts (ABHA). The State’s initial few landmarks include these.

Key Takeaways

  • Aarogya Manthan 3.0 was launched by Union Minister of Health Shri Mansukh Mandaviya to commemorate Ayushman Bharat’s third anniversary.
  • Development and health are related—the Hon. Prime Minister’s goal and the aim is universal health care, according to Shri Mandaviya.
  • The most effective AB PM-JAY States and UTs receive “Ayushman Utkrishta Puraskaar” prizes for effectively implementing the program.
  • According to Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar, the program “has significant potential to revitalise the basic and secondary healthcare institutions across the country.”

Ayushmann Utkrisht award 2022

The state government of Uttar Pradesh said in a statement that the State received the “Ayushman Utkrisht Award 2022” just at the Aarogya Manthan program hosted in New Delhi on Monday for adding different services to the National Healthcare Facilities Register. According to the government, nearly two crores of Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts (ABHA) have been established in Uttar Pradesh, making it the second State in the country to do so.

According to the government’s announcement, Yogi Adityanath’s administration’s work in the healthcare system during the last five and a half years was the reason why UP was recognized for its healthcare services on a national level. According to the administration, Uttar Pradesh has won praise from the country for adding many health centres to the healthcare facilities registry. The National Healthcare Facilities Register now includes 28,728 new health facilities, according to the government’s shared statistics, making UP the top performing state in the country.

The goal of this program is to directly link the hospitals with the beneficiaries and offer improved and seamless access to information at hand of admission. Additionally, this would make it easier for beneficiaries and, if any, patch lapses to identify AB PM-JAY consistently. It will perform the role of a specialised service window and have the ability to give visitors all types of details about the program.

Beneficiary Facilitation Agency

As part of AB PM-JAY, Benefit Enablement Agencies (BFAs) will be placed at public hospitals that have been granted empanelled status. These BFAs will be tasked with examining all IPD patients in those hospitals to determine whether they qualify for the program and helping PM-JAY beneficiaries access the necessary support to take advantage of the program’s benefits.

Redesigned PM-JAY technology platform

Three critical applications of the AB PM-JAY IT platform were introduced depending on the outcomes of the previous three years. These apps seek to improve the experiences of beneficiaries, hospitals, and claims processing agents. A Beneficiaries Identification System (BIS) authenticates the beneficiary’s identification. Beneficiary verification may now be done independently or with assistance under the new system.

A new Transaction Management System (TMS) has reduced the documentation needed to submit claims and streamlined how questions are raised throughout the claim-processing phase. The Hospital Empanelment Module, which is used to locate the hospitals covered by the plan and empanel hospitals, has been updated to make empanelment easier through a simplified procedure and a digital MoU. The public presence of hospitals having empanelled status will also aid in making an educated selection about the hospital to choose.

Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar, who delivered a speech at the event, underlined the significance of AB-PMJDY in improving India’s healthcare system, saying that the program “has significant potential to revitalise both secondary and primary health centres across the nation.” The topic for Aarogya Manthan 3.0 this year is service and excellence. In my opinion, AB PM-JAY is upholding this noble purpose by providing accessible, readily available, and high-quality medical care to even more than 54 crore specific attacks throughout India.

Ayushman Bharat Yojana

To realise the goal of Universal Health Coverage, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the national project known as “Healthy India,” or Ayushman Bharat (UHC). This effort was created with the SDG and its central aim of “leaving no one behind” in mind.

AyushmanBharat represents an effort to transition from a sectoral and fragmented approach to delivering health services to a complete need-based strategy. At the elementary, secondary, and tertiary levels, Ayushman Bharat seeks to implement ground-breaking interventions holistically approach health (covering prevention, promotion, and ambulatory care). The continuum of care strategy used by Ayushman Bharat consists of two interconnected parts: the construction of a fitness & wellbeing centre.
