Every year, Teachers’ Day is observed to recognize the importance of educators in our lives. It is commemorated to honour and recognize teachers’ efforts to improve our lives. Different nations observe Teachers’ Day on different dates. It is observed annually on September 5 to honour the birth anniversary of a distinguished scholar, Bharat Ratna recipient, first Vice-President, & second President of Indian Independence, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
National Teachers Day 2022
On September 5, India celebrates National Teachers Day to honour our teachers. September 5 marks the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarevepalli Radhakrishnan, a former prime minister Of India who became a well-known Teacher, Academic, & Philosopher. Teachers play a vital part in everyone’s life. National Teachers Day 2022 is significant for students and teachers since it recognizes teachers’ contributions to students’ lives. Teachers lead us along the correct road and teach us to strive for our freedom and rights. Students must commemorate this Day by sending messages or writing quotations to thank their professors for mentoring them. The President of India presented the National Teacher Medals to deserving teachers on National Teachers Day.
About Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan
Students around India dress up as their instructors on Teacher’s Day and deliver lectures in courses allotted to the lecturers they represent. Teachers may often sit in their courses dressed as students, attempting to recapture their days as students. To commemorate Teacher’s Day, students performed songs and plays in which they recognize the contributions of their instructors and share heartfelt memories with them.
Students frequently express their devotion to their favourite instructors with cards, speeches, and chocolates. Teachers can share their personal experiences with pupils.
However, the boy’s abilities were so exceptional he was sent off to school in Tirupati and later Vellore. Later, he enrolled at the Christian College in Madras to study philosophy. Radhakrishnan, who was drawn into philosophy by chance, became a remarkable philosopher due to his confidence, attention, and strong convictions.
Throughout his school and college years, Radhakrishnan received scholarships. Previously, he attended Vellore’s Voorhees College before transferring to Madras Christian at 17. He graduated as one of the university’s most famous alums in 1906 with a master’s degree in philosophy.
He was an intriguing instructor who was well-liked by his pupils during his days as a lecturer at Presidency College in Madras. He was under 30 years old when he was awarded a position at Calcutta University. From 1931 to 1936, he was the Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University. He was appointed Vice Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University in 1939.
