The State-wise Inspire Awards Result 2022, or Lists of Qualified Students underneath the INSPIRE Awards Ceremony for the Year 2021–2022, has been announced by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), the Indian government. SCERT Telangana will hold the online State And national level Exhibit and Project Contests for the 2019–20 academic year as part of the INSPIRE Awards MANAK Scheme.

INSPIRE Awards - MANAK
Since 2010, the Innovations in Scientific Pursuit for Inspiring Research (INSPIRE) initiative has been effectively implemented by the Ministry of Science and Technology (DST), the Indian government. The program includes five components and is available to students between 10 and 32. The first component, the INSPIRE Award, intends to encourage young people between the ages of 10-15 who are enrolled in classes 6 through 10 to pursue science and a career in research.
The Technology and Science Ministry and the National ICT Foundation-India are redesigning and putting into practice the Million Minds Supplementing National Aspiration and Understanding (MANAK) initiative in order to align it with the action plan for the “Begin India” program initiated by the Honourable Prime Minister. Students from all public and private schools across the country are welcome to participate in the programme. It enables people to submit their unique and ground-breaking technical concepts and inventions, which will enhance and broaden the technology and scientific system and boost related research and development.
Under the INSPIRE AWARDS – Teachers from both public and private schools in the country, regardless of their school systems (national and state), would be invited to submit original and innovative technical ideas/innovations that concentrate on common issues and provide solutions, whether these are household-related or even for porters, labourers, society, or school-related. Once a pupil has had an idea, they can communicate it to the institution’s headmaster or principal.
Actions Being Taken to Operationalise the Scheme
- County, state, and school-level officials around the nation can improve their understanding and capacity through local seminars, audio-visual tools, and literature.
- We are doing internal idea contests at schools, and the headmaster or principal of each school submits two to three of the best original ideas in any Indian language online via the E-MIAS website. On the E-MIAS website, the schools must register. The top 20,000 (twenty thousand) proposals chosen by NIF use science and technology to alleviate societal challenges.
- The Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) procedure is used to transfer the 10,000 INR INSPIRE Prize to the bank accounts of the students who were shortlisted.

Kids are encouraged to think up original, unique ideas by themselves. Instead of coming up with the concept themselves, parents or instructors may help present an issue to the youngster or assist in turning that idea into a model.
The instructors can check the EMIAS website to see whether the ideas their students are working or have already been acknowledged. By doing so, innovation will be endured, and competition will be maintained.
Date by which inventions and ideas must be submitted
The online nomination period for 2021–2022 is now open. The deadline for the nominations from the schools is October 15, 2021.
Regional workshops & creativity workshops are being held to spread awareness of the MANAK plan for the INSPIRE Awards. Before entries for the competition are submitted, local workshops will be held, during which teachers, principals, and district- and state-level bureaucrats will be briefed about the new plan and made aware of the importance of innovation.
Before the national event, innovation workshops would be held at several R&D and technical institutions. The emphasis will be on imparting fundamental knowledge of prototype development to the kids and enhancing the calibre of the goods on show at national exhibitions. During this process, children will learn by engaging with students and instructors from different engineering and design universities.
