The 1936 founding of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) was one of the earliest institutes to provide social science degrees. It provides online, blended, certificate, vocational, graduate, PhD, and postgraduate courses in various public welfare and community development-related disciplines. The institute has 12 schools, most located on the Mumbai campus. In addition to its flagship campus in Mumbai, TISS also maintains campuses in Hyderabad and Guwahati. About TISSNET.
The TISS National Entrance Test is held at the Mumbai-based Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISSNET). It is a university-level entrance examination for the School of Management and Labour Studies’ MA programs. The MA program in Human Resources Management and Labour Relations available at TISS campuses is on par with the management programs provided by the country’s top MBA institutions. When will there be a new TISSNET?
Typically, the TISSNET program takes place in February. The registration period for TISSNET 2023 is expected to begin in December 2022, despite the absence of a formal announcement. Application submission is required through the main website, admissions.tiss.edu. During the final week of January, the institute frequently holds a pre-admission orientation session for applicants from the restricted category.
Around ten days before the exam, you may buy the admittance cards from the official website. In March, the TISSNET findings were made public. The eligible candidates are then invited to participate in additional admission procedures by the merit list generated by the institute.
The TISSNET application procedure in 2023
TISSNET 2023’s application procedure will begin online. Candidates who want to apply for admission to TISS must fill out the TISSNET 2023 registration form to participate in the applicants. Academic Background for Eligibility
- A bachelor’s degree from an authorised university or it is comparable is required of the applicant.
- If candidates complete their last year of a bachelor’s degree program by June 2023, they may also apply.
- Candidates for a 3-year bachelor’s degree should have finished all four semesters before submitting their TISSNET applications. In contrast, those pursuing a 4-year bachelor’s degree must have finished all topics through the sixth semester.
- Shortlisted candidates must provide their original diplomas and grade reports on the day of the personal interview. Students must present the mark sheets from all prior semesters in their final year of a course of study.
