Mahatma Gandhi:
Because of his remarkable efforts, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was nicknamed “Father of the Nation” and Mahatma Gandhi. He was born on October 2, 1869. He married Kasturba when he was 13, studied law in London, and then traveled to South Africa to practice law, where he was inspired to fight for human rights after witnessing racial injustice against some Indians. After seeing the state of India under English rule, Gandhi became a fervent supporter of the independence movement. He wore “DandiKuch” on his foot to protest salt taxes and led various nonviolent anti-British actions in his quest for independence.
Jawaharlal Nehru
Jawaharlal Nehru was born in 1889, the first and only son of Motilal Nehru and Swarup Rani. Nehru began his career as an attorney before becoming well-known as an Indian freedom fighter and politician. Nehru’s efforts to free India from Britishers influenced his zeal for India’s independence.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel
Vallabhbhai Patel, who was born in 1875 and gained the title of ‘Sardar’ after his heroic effort in the Bardoli Satyagraha, was most courageous and epic from an early age. He earned the nickname “the iron man of India” as a result of his valiant efforts. Sardar Patel began his career as a lawyer, but he left the profession to fight for India’s independence from British domination. Following India’s independence, he became the country’s Deputy Prime Minister and committed himself to unite the country’s princely states.
Bhagat Singh
Bhagat Singh is regarded as one of India’s greatest independence warriors. He was a well-known rebel and controversial member of India’s Freedom Fighters who perished as a warrior for his country. He was born in 1907 to a Sikh family of brave fighters in Punjab. As a result, he became a natural nationalist in 1921 and joined the non-cooperation movement. To instill patriotism in Punjab’s youth, he founded the “Naujawan Bharat Sabha.” In his struggle for liberation, the Chauri-Chaura Massacre altered him and drove him to the limit. During India’s independence movement, Bhagat Singh was a heroic political activist and socialist revolutionary.
Rani Lakshmi Bhai
Not only are men freedom fighters, there are also women freedom fighters. Jhansi Rani Lakshmi Bhai, is the bravest lady who was born on 19 November 1828. She is the strongest lady who fought fearlessly in war with her child and defeated English men and protected her dynasty. She is the epitome of courage, self-respect and generosity. She is the queen of Jhansi and an active participant in the Indian Revolt. She died on 18 June 1858.
Sarojini Naidu
Sarojini Naidu, who was also called the nightingale of India was born on 13 February 1879.She was a great poet and a freedom fighter and also she was the president of the Indian National Congress (INC) in 1925. She is also an active participant in Quit Indian movement,

Mangal Pandey
He was one of the Indian soldiers who contributed significantly to the commencement of the 1857 Indian revolt. He served in the British East India Company’s 34th Bengal Native Infantry Regiment as a sepoy. He is recognized as the hero of the 1857 Indian Mutiny. He was born in Nagwa, a hamlet in Uttar Pradesh’s upper Ballia district.
Rani Lakshmi Bhai
She was the empress of the princely state of Jhansi, which is now located in the Uttar Pradesh state of India’s Jhansi district. She was a well-known figure in the anti-British resistance movement. Because her adoptive son wasn’t really considered the legitimate heir, she revolted against the British Raj. As a result, she rose up in rebellion to safeguard her reign for Damodar Rao, her adopted son.
Narendra Dev Acharya
In India, he was a major theoretician for the Congress Socialist Party. As a matter of principle, his democratic socialism abhorred violence and accepted Satyagraha as a revolutionary tool. He called for the removal of the poor and exploitation on ethical and humanistic grounds, not merely through Marxist materialist logic.
