Objective
The main focus of the Technology Development and Related Programmes is aimed at developing and integrating technologies and to facilitate and support development of products or techniques. This programme surely emphasizes identifying the needs for technology development and integration techniques. With the development effort, it ensures active user engagement and involvement. Develop and integrate technologies in some of the most crucial identified areas by following a holistic approach.
Promote various applications of advanced and modern technologies to solve socio-economic problems in our society.
Help promote modernization of traditional tools, technologies and skills aimed at developing and integrating technologies.
To facilitate and support development of products (traditional as well as non-traditional products) and techniques in diverse areas.

Eligibility
Project proposals under Technology Development and Related Programmes can be submitted for financial support by scientists, engineers or technologists working in well known institutions, registered societies, Research and Development institutions or laboratories having adequate facilities and infrastructure to carry out the advanced technology development work.
The programme also encourages multi-disciplinary proposals schematizing the network or collaboration of various Organizations having diverse expertise and facilities for effective implementation of the Projects. Participation in such an industry is highly appreciated. Project proposals from Research and Development or academic institutions in collaboration with Industry having DSIR recognized Research and Development Labratories is preferred.
Technology Integration
Aimed at developing and integrating technologies and to facilitate and support development of products or techniques technology integration is indeed in need. This means the use of various technologies in general content areas in education in order to allow students to apply computer and technology skills to learning and problem-solving. Generally, the curriculum increases the use of advanced and modern technology and not the opposite way around.
Technology Integration can be defined as the use of technology and techniques to enhance and facilitate classroom instruction by creating golden opportunities for upcoming students to complete assignments on the computer rather than with the traditional pen-and-paper way. On a large scale, this tech. Integration also refers to the use of an integration platform and Application Programme Interface in the management of an institute, school, to integrate disparate SaaS (Software as a Service) applications, databases, and programs used by an educational organization so that their data can be shared in real-time across all the systems on campus. Thus, we can definitely support students’ education quality by improving data quality and access for faculty and staff.
