The population of the rural area is also limited and the people are usually found working in fields and ranches handling cattle and living a very basic and simple life. Wildlife can be very easily and frequently found in rural areas because of the open fields which are used for farming. The rural areas can often be termed a country because the residents of rural areas have the advantage of interacting and enjoying the native wildlife of the region. The chief source of living in the rural area is farming along with the cottage industry, fishing and pottery. If the population of an area is under 15000 then it is considered a rural village in India and a panchayat system is established in these areas to take all the decisions of the area. Urban Areas
The area which surrounds a city is known as an Urban Area. The people who live in the urban area generally have jobs which are non-agricultural in nature. The urban areas are highly developed and the density between the people, roadways, buildings etc. is there. Towns, suburbs and cities can also be termed Urban Areas. There are a few types of urban areas such as towns, and suburbs. A town is generally smaller in size than a city but bigger than the rural areas. They generally have local self-government in towns which control the whole town and take decisions for its benefit. Whereas suburbs are small urban areas which surround a city. These are not as populated as the cities but have a bigger population than the rural areas. A lot of people from cities move to suburbs as bigger and better homes can be found in suburbs and at a much cheaper price.
