Country Capital

Each country around the world has its country capital. A country capital is a city or municipality carrying the primary status of a country, state, province, or department generally as a seat of government. The choice of which city to make the capital of the country is done through a specific procedure. Before choosing a city as the capital of any country there are few points to be considered before and one of the most important key points is location. The leader of the country looks for a place that is a good location in the country as capital. Many countries look for a location that is centrally located in the country as a result of which the government of the country can focus equally on everybody and chances of biases could be made towards a particular region. For example, the capital of Spain Madrid is located almost in the middle part of the country Spain.

Other than location some countries look for another point rather than location and that point is the population of the place. When thinking of the capital of the country, the existing city as the capital of the country is fully built for a new one in that case population could be seen as a matter of concern. At times Cities mostly populated are chosen as the capital of the country. For instance, In South Korea, 20% of the population of South Korea are residents of Seoul which is the capital of South Korea. In 1949 after the formation of South Korea, Seoul’s population was 1.45 million which was 7.2% of the population of the whole of South Korea. Then after Pevurian Independence, the population of Lima was about 64,000 out of which Peru had a population of 1.45 million people.
