Name of Dam: Katangi Tank

Katangi Dam is a man-made dam on the Katanginalla River near Goregaon, Maharashtra, India. The dam rises 13.65 meters (44.8 feet) above the lowest foundation and is 2,360 meters (7,740 feet) long. The gross storage capacity is 11,120.00 km3 – 2,667.83 cu mi, with a volume content of 464.12 km3 (111.35 cu mi). The dam’s purposes were for Irrigation, Fishing & drinking purposes.
