Conclusion
We studied the Name of Dam: Katangi Tank, Name of Dam: Kedarnalla, Name of Dam: Kathripali Tank, and all about the topic Dams of Chhattisgarh: Salient Features (Set – 9).
A dam is a structure that is built across a stream or river. Water collects behind this barrier, making a pool. Dams are important for a variety of reasons, including power generation, water supply, stabilizing water flow/irrigation, flood prevention, land reclamation, water diversion, and navigation. The Museum Silli Dam, located on the Sillari River, is a notable architectural marvel in the state of Chhattisgarh. The dam is the first in Asia to have Siphon Spillways with a height of 34.15 meters, which were erected for agricultural purposes.
