As the title suggests, the topic will make a comparison between the air force of India- fourth largest air force, China-second largest air force, and Pakistan's air force ranking in the world.

The military branch which precisely conducts the business of aerial warfare is widely known as the Air Force. Air Force is liable for overseeing the airways, doing key and strategic bombarding missions, and offering help to land and maritime powers frequently as aeronautical surveillance and close air support. They consist of a number of fighters, bombers, transport planes, aircraft, and helicopters. Many of the Air Forces play an essential in commanding and controlling the defense of the air. Indian Air Force

The air force of India- fourth-largest air force in the world. It was established in 1932 as the British Empire’s Air force. The Indian Air force’s strength can be highlighted through the following points-

  • The number of aircraft adhered to the Indian Air Force is approximately 1700

  • The number of combat aircrafts adhered to the Indian Aircraft is approximately 900

  • The number of soldiers in the Indian Air forces is approximately 1.4 Lakhs, which is higher compared to many recognised countries in the world

  • C-17 Globemaster aircraft are aircraft that can carry a payload ranging from 40-70 tonnes up to approximately 4200-9000 kilometres, at once. India holds around 10 C-17 Globemaster Aircrafts

  • MiG-29: It is a fighter aircraft-one seated with two engines. This aircraft can fly at a speed of 2445 km/hr and can fight to 17 km altitude-wise. The range of the aircraft is 30 mm, with a missile system having medium-range radar

  • MiG-27: It is a fighter aircraft- one seated with one engine. This aircraft can fly at a speed of 177 km/hr. The range of the aircraft is 23 mm

  • Rafale Jet: The Rafale Fighter jet is widely known as the strongest fighter aircraft and a game-changer for the Indian Air Force. It was first imported from France in the year 2019

  • SU-30 MKI: It is a fighter aircraft having two seats that can carry air-to-air missiles which are medium in range

  • Jaguar: These aircraft can intrude on the enemy’s inside territory, having a maximum speed of 1350 km/hr and can carry an additional weight of 4750 kgs

China’s Air Force

China has the second-largest air force in the world. The strength of the Chinese air force can be highlighted through the following points:

  • The Chinese air force is widely known as the People’s Liberation Army Air Force- PLAAF

  • The number of soldiers in the Chinese Air force is approximately 330000

  • The number of mainstream aircraft in the Chinese air force “PLAAF” is approximately 2800

  • The number of combat aircraft in the PLAAF is approximately 1900

  • The air force of China has made around 192 modern launchers

  • The Chinese nation has a ground-to-air missile system – the S-300

  • Around 192 modern launchers were made by the Chinese PLAAF

Therefore, the Chinese PLAAF comes after the USA Air Force

Pakistan’s Air Force

The seventh-largest air force in the world is the Pakistan Air force. The strength of the Pakistan air force can be highlighted through the following points:

  • The number of soldiers in the Pakistan Air force is approximately 78000

  • The number of combat aircraft is approximately 400, with around 300 other support aircraft

  • The Pakistan Air force has the F-16 Fighter Falcon Aircrafts, which were made in the USA. In addition, it has the MiG-21 and MiG-19 fighter aircraft
