The city; Chandigarh is recognized as the joint capital of the two bordering states, namely Haryana and Punjab. The city is bordered by Punjab in the west, north, and south and Haryana in the eastern part. The city is 260 km away in the northern direction from the country’s capital city; New Delhi. The city has multiple famous architectural designs designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Matthew Nowicki, and Albert Mayer. These four names are very important for the design of the city. Le Corbusier’s most important building is the Court House which is the High Court of Chandigarh. The building is higher compared to the other eight lower courts in Chandigarh. Most of the architecture has great resemblance and similarities to other French projects and architectural designs made by the same architects.
