Note: There will be a 1/4th negative mark for both the preliminary exam and the main exam. The SBI Clerk Exam has sectional timing for each of its stages.

Language Proficiency Test

Once the SBI Clerk Main exam is passed, candidates need to pass the selected local language exam. Those who provide transcripts from grades 10 and 12 that explicitly identify their native tongue will not be needed to take a language exam. If candidates are judged to be less than fluent in the selected local language, they will be eliminated from consideration.
