• Scale-I Officer: The RRB PO Scale-I Mains exam consists of five sections: Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language, Hindi Language, and Computer Knowledge. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours. The Reasoning and Computer Knowledge sections carry 40 marks each, while the General Awareness, English Language, and Hindi Language sections carry 40 marks collectively.
• Scale-II Officer: The RRB PO Scale-II Mains exam is conducted for specialist officer positions such as IT Officer, Chartered Accountant, Law Officer, and Agricultural Officer. This exam also includes five sections: Reasoning, Financial Awareness, English Language, Hindi Language, and Computer Knowledge. The total duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
• Scale-III Officer: The RRB PO Scale-III Mains exam is for senior-level officers. It includes the same five sections as the Scale-II exam, with a total duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. 

IBPS RRB PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2023

The IBPS RRB PO Prelims exam is the initial stage of the selection process. It serves as a screening test to shortlist candidates for the main exam. The preliminary exam pattern for RRB PO includes two sections: Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. Each section carries 40 marks and the total duration of the exam is 45 minutes.

The Reasoning section assesses a candidate’s logical and analytical skills, while the Quantitative Aptitude section evaluates their mathematical abilities. The number of questions and the time allotted for each section may vary based on the year and the IBPS guidelines.
