SBI PO 2022 Notification – SBI PO 2022 examination notification has been released by the State Bank of India to select the candidates for the Probationary Officers vacancies in the different branches. This year, 1673 vacancies have been released. On September 21, 2022, the SBI PO 2022 notification has been issued and the registration process started on September 22, 2022. The exam for the State Bank of India Probationary Officer or SBI PO is conducted annually for the recruitment of Probationary Officers(PO) in the State Bank of India. The exam is conducted in three stages. The first stage is the preliminary examination. The second stage is Mains examination and lastly, the third stage is Interview or Group Discussion.

The online application process for SBI PO exam has been started on September 22, 2022. The last date to apply online for the SBI PO 2022 exam is October 12, 2022. For general candidates, the SBI PO 2022 application fee will be INR 750/-, while for SC/ST.PWD candidates it is Nil. The application fee should be paid online only. Phase-1 (Preliminary Examination)
SBI PO preliminary examination consists of the objective based question. The paper will be of 100 marks. The test will have 3 sections as follows –

Selection criteria for Mains examination –
The category wise merit list will be released on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained in the preliminary examination. There will be the sectional cut-off. Candidates numbering 10 times (approx.) the number of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for Main Examination from the top of above merit list.
Phase-II (Mains Examination)
Main Examination will be conducted online and will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after the conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.

Final Selection
The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-II and Phase-III separately. The marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in Phase-III for preparing the final merit list. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for preparing the final merit list for selection.

The final merit list will be published after aggregating the converted marks of Phase – II and Phase – III. The selection will be done on the basis of the top merit ranked candidates under each category.
SBI PO syllabus 2022 can be divided into individual topics, based on the questions that has been asked in the exam over the previous years. Each stage of the exam is equally important. SBI will release the hall ticket for the SBI PO 2022 on the official website. The admit card will be released separately for prelims and mains. The candidates can get the SBI PO 2022 admit card from sbi.co.in. The candidates who will be appearing for the the SBI PO exam need to carry the hall ticket along with them on the day of the examination. The candidates must bring the original ID proof as well. The candidates need to enter their login details with a valid captcha codes to download the SBI PO 2022 hall ticket. The candidates who have filled the form successfully will be able to download the hall ticket for the SBI PO 2022 exam. The SBI PO 2022 admit card will have all the important information such as candidate’s name, roll number, category, exam centre details, shift, candidate’s signature and roll number.

SBI PO 2022 exam will be conducted from December 17-20, 2022. The State Bank of India also releases the scorecard which candidates can access by using their registration number or roll number and also fill the date of birth or password. The candidates who score the marks equal to or more than the required cut-off will be shortlisted for the next stage of the SBI PO 2022 exam.
