IBPS RRB Salary Perks and Benefits

The candidates selected for DIBPS RRB shall be entitled to the below-mentioned perks and benefits, but only after completing their training period. 

  1. Dearness Allowance: 46.5% of the basic pay scale.
  2. House Rent Allowance: for rural areas 5% of the basic pay scale, for Semi-urban areas 7.5% of the basic pay scale, for Urban areas 10% of the basic pay scale.
  3. Special Allowance: 7.75% of the basic pay.

Job Profile

Clerk 

A candidate selected as a clerk in IBPS RRB shall undergo 6 months training period. 

Upon the completion of his training period, he shall be responsible for the following tasks:

  1. To receive cash, cheques pay orders drafts and other important instruments & documents and acknowledge the same.
  2. He shall be responsible for handling the passing and paying out the cash payment of withdrawal forms and cheques. 
  3. He shall be responsible for acknowledging the incoming calls, and emails, preparing the emails and delivering the same.

Scale I officer

A candidate selected as a Scale I officer in IBPS RRB shall undergo 2 years training period, which shall be known as the probation time period. 

Upon the completion of his probation period, the officer shall be responsible for the following tasks:

  1. To manage day-to-day banking operations.
  2. To manage the responsibility of disbarment of loan and credit portfolio system.
  3. To take care of every single operation carried out by his team under his guidance.
  4. To make sure that his take also includes the agricultural scheme and the policies for the rural market. 
  5. One of the most important tasks is to prepare the audit reports.

What is IBPS RRB Exam

The IBPS RRB Exam is conducted and administered by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection to select candidates for office assistant and managerial positions at many Regional Rural Banks (RRB) in India. Recently, the IBPS released the notification to conduct the Common Recruitment Process for RRBs for the purpose of recruitment of Group-A officers and Group – B officer assistants. As per the notification, the IBPS has revealed that the exam may be conducted from the months of August – October 2022. The IBPS RRB exam is conducted and consists of three phases:

  2. Main Exam 
  3. Interview
