Can anyone explain me in last question....why Dog time for A to C = Aman time for B to C
Correction- In last question Aman was initially moving to downstream.

If we go according to the question answer is 288 m. Since there is a typo whatever explained by sir is right.

Sir, how is it possible for Aman to row downstream to reach the spot where he first spotted the drowning cat as he was rowing upstream, and it is neither possible for cat to keep flowing up-stream as the cat is supposed to flow down with the current. can we have a updated statement of the question with correct instructions?
My thoughts exactly. Shouldn't it be 645m? Unless the cat was swimming upstream the solution is a bit vague.-

No the answer is correct i.e. 860. But there is some misprinting in question that is aman didn't turned back he keep on rowing upstream to save the cat and at last when he pulled the cat into boat he started rowing downstream to reach the position where he first spotted. Now apply this nd solve.
