I know Sunday is off day but current news of Sunday would be asked in upsc. if we felt on the mudit magazine we should get complete course even Sundays. UPSC would not consider Sunday as holiday and leave the topics from Sunday news. every second news could be imp. and asked by upsc

That's genuine..But uploading lessons upto 8-9 per day...It requires 8-10hrs of devotion..He too needs rest..Just go through the newspaper at least on Sundays..
what's thhe difference between bad bank and arc?

Let us suppose a Bank has provided a loan to a corporate of INR 100 crore. Now the loan has turned to be Non Performing Asset (NPA). Bank has now following options. Bank can seize the pledge asset and recover from the sale of the assets. This typically involve large losses on loans. They can avail Strategic Debt Restructuring or S4A scheme as provided by RBI. Bank can restructure the loan so that it can service them. It involves like giving flexibility on period of payment, or waiving part of loans or interest etc. Sell its NPAs to Assets Reconstruction Company. This involves significant amount of loss as NPAs should be sold on high discounts. Now here is a slight difference between ARC and Bad bank. Instead of selling your NPAs to ARC you can transfer it to bad banks. Now Bad banks are the separate institute formed by the Bank, or group of Bank or by the government itself. It can also be in partnership between banks and government. The major benefit is that bank clearly distinguishes good assets and bad assets. By segregating two, bank prevents bad assets contaminating the good one. And it helps bank management to core focus on good business.
