New Delhi is the capital of India. It is one of the most modernized and civilized cities in India. New Delhi is also a part of NCT, the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The municipal council regulates all the functioning of New Delhi. 

New Delhi was established in 1911. It is a small part of old Delhi. Although, after establishment, New Delhi was inaugurated in the year 1931. The total area of New Delhi is 42.7 sq. km (16.5 sq mi). The population density of New Delhi is 5,900/sq.km (15,000/sq mi).

That is why the temperature of Delhi is not defined properly, and it constantly changes with time. In summers, it ranges up to 46 °C (115 °F), and in winters, it falls up to 0 °C (32 °F), that’s why there are many such variations in its temperature. Along with this, the individuals of Delhi can take advantage of all seasons, whether it is rain, autumn or spring. All the seasons come in Delhi within one year.

In the east of the Yamuna River, the urban area of New Delhi comes which is called a Shahdara. The surrounding areas of New Delhi and New Delhi itself are part of the Aravali Range. New Delhi lies on the left side of this range, called a Delhi ridge. Along with this, this range is also called the lungs of Delhi.
