CAT 2022 - Eligibility Criteria
The CAT 2022 entrance exam is mainly for admissions in the PG management course in the top colleges of the country. The interested candidate should fall under the given eligibility criteria for not getting the candidature canceled.
- Must have completed their graduation in any stream (50% aggregate and 45% for the reserved categories)
- Candidates whose final year bachelor’s Degree results are soon to be announced can also apply.

CAT 2022 - Exam Pattern
CAT examination is held in online mode, last year the examination was conducted by the IIM Ahmedabad. The CAT 2022 examination paper is divided into three different sections
- Reading Comprehension and the Verbal Ability
- Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation
- Quantitative Aptitude
- The medium of the paper is the English language,
- Questions are of MCQ and TITA type
- The duration of the examination is about 120 minutes
- The correct answer scores +3 marks, the incorrect answer scores -1 marks, and for un-attempted question no marks are deducted/rewarded
- There is no negative marking on TITA questions, if answered incorrect
- The exam will be taking place in about 156 cities across the country.

Application Process of CAT 2022
The application processing for CAT 2022 is also similar to the application progress of the other examinations. For registration in the CAT 2022 examination all the interested candidates must go through the following steps:
STEP 1: Visit the official CAT 2022 website. (iimcat.ac.in)
STEP 2: Select the option of the new user.
STEP 3: The next step is to enter the personal information about the candidates such as their names, DOBs, email ID, etc. in the application form.
STEP 4: Complete the captcha code and then SUBMIT.
STEP 5: This will generate an OTP and send it to the given phone number that has been submitted before in the form.
STEP 6: Enter the OTP in the desired column for the verification of the registration.
STEP 7: In this step, the candidates have to provide their detailed information to complete the registration process.
STEP 8: Upload all the necessary documents such as the mark sheets of 10th, 12th, and Graduation or other professional dress.
STEP 9: Select the course of preference and the test centers preferred by the candidates.
STEP 10: And at the end, make the payment of the application form online.
CAT Exam Fees 2022
CAT 2022 is a national-level examination that takes place every year across multiple cities in India, in online mode. This year the examination is going to be held in 156 different cities in the country. The tentative date for the examination of CAT 2022 is the 27nd of November 2022.
The exam fees for SC, ST and PwD category candidates is Rs. 1150 and Rs. 2300 for all other categories of candidates.
