Electrical Power Systems Videos by Ankit Goyal Sir

Electrical power systems are the backbone of modern life. It is the most crucial subject in Electrical Engineering. In GATE, ESE and all other PSU’s Power systems role is very crucial in judging the student’s knowledge. That is the reason it takes a major part of weightage in all kinds of Technical exams and Interviews.

If we consider the weights in technical exams it goes up to 35- 40% like (UPPCL, PGCIL, TSTransco. etc.)

In GATE, we can expect approximately 12 -15 marks every year, with which your rank in All India will change to a great extent. If you are thorough enough in Power Systems in ESE, you can also gain 25-30% of your entire marks to be on the list.

In GATE & ESE for the last few years, the major areas of focus are Power system stability, Symmetrical & Unsymmetrical Faults, Reactive power control & Load flow Analysis.

In interviews as well, most of the PSU are focusing on the latest trends of Power systems like “One nation one Grid”, Smart Grid, HVAC & HVDC, etc.
