in the 67th question, the summing point is producing the feedback signal. so the feedback signal only will be zero but not the transfer function. hope this clears your doubt

Mam,Two blocks are in parallel.. Hence gains should be added which results in zero..Am i right?

yes you are right but here the response from the block with gain 1/(s+1) is distributed to output as well as the summing point in the feedback where as the response from block with gain -1/(s+1) is only fed to the summing point in feedback. so the signal from the summing point which is the feedback signal would be zero but not the entire transfer function.
