BROAD LEARNINGS TIME: Keep the answers short, crisp and structured. Do not speak for longer than 1.5 mins at a stretch as it will bore the interviewer. CULTURAL FIT: Emphasise the cultural fit in every question possible but very subtly. . RESEARCH: Be well aware about the company/institute, career path, opportunities, values to have an edge over other candidates TRUTH & HONESTY: Be honest, do not fake the answers. Do not try to be over smart. More genuine you are, better the chances of selection
BROAD LEARNINGS .STAR method: Use the STAR method (Situation, task, action, result) to structure the situation based answers. SMART method: Use the SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, timely) goals method to answer questions related to goals, SOP etc. .Examples: Always use examples and instances to substantiate your qualities, beliefs and words. Extremities: Refrain from using religious, political, racial words and beliefs. Keep opinions balanced Avoid talking about personal life unless specifically asked.
