thanks for this good questions...but in question no 4, i guess the 2nd ring out of 5 rings is not aromatic....please correct me if i am wrong!

Piyush, there are two carbonyl carbon atoms on both the reactants. And it is given that we have taken 2 moles of one of the reactants(the one containing the aldehyde part). Hence on removing alpha hydrogen from alpha position of both the carbonyl carbon atoms of the compound containing the ketone part, we are able to initiate the attack on both the carbonyl carbon atoms of the compound containing the aldehyde parts. And we are carrying out this process twice due to 2 moles of the compound containing the aldehyde part being present. Hence we remove the alpha hydrogen 4 times in total from all 4 alpha positions of the di-ketonic compound. Hope this helps. Happy learning!
