The word ‘Puzzle’ means a set of rearranged raw information that is required to be correctly arranged accordingly so that the arrangements or the sequence are properly detected. In an exam to enhance the reasoning ability of a person, Puzzles are provided randomly to check the mental and analytical ability of a person, to see that the person has a proper judgemental attitude in meaningful form and can solve the Puzzle by following the proper pattern and linking the pattern of the Puzzle to each other as asked in the question and solve it. In the case of the Puzzle section logical reasoning, there is no proper formula or sequence to solve these kinds of Puzzles, so it is the most difficult part of the reasoning. 

Puzzle Reasoning 

Analyzing the data which is given in the question and arranging each of them in correct order to get a suitable result of the question is known as Puzzle reasoning. The information that is given to the candidates in Puzzle questions should read the information properly and accordingly do the important things and leaves the pieces of information which are not needed to solve the answers. There are several types of Puzzle questions i.e. the types of questions that are given in the Puzzle reasoning.

The types of Puzzle questions are as follows –

  • Scheduling Puzzle – scheduling Puzzle is that kind of Puzzle in which the data is based on days, years, or months that will be provided in the question.
  • Mathematical puzzle – It is a kind of Puzzle question in which the questions are provided like to find in a series the missing numbers, time problem, distance problem, numbers missing in a series, etc.
  • Floor Puzzle – It is a kind of Puzzle question in which the pieces of information are given as persons living in a different building or same building of different floors and the candidates are required to arrange them properly as per the question.
  • Square Puzzle – It is a kind of Puzzle in which the candidates are asked to solve the problems related to the numbers present in the square table.
  • Multiple Variable/ Double Line up Puzzle – It is a kind of Puzzle question in which the information about various objects or people will be given and accordingly as per the information the candidate needs to complete the Puzzle.
  • Box Puzzle – It is a kind of Puzzle reasoning in which the information is given for sequencing the boxes according to the question given.
