The Official Languages

Official language refers to the language that is used by the government of this particular country, not by the people of this country.

The important factor of this study is that it defines the aspect of official languages of India. The Indian constitution has decided to use two languages that are English and Hindi and they are considered to be the official languages of India. The use of these languages can be seen in the governmental work for India. They are- Punjabi, Hindi, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Maithili, Konkani, Kannada, Gujarati, Marathi, Assamese, Dogri, Bodo, Santali, Urdu, Telegu, Tamil, Manipuri, Bengali, Malayalam, Odia, Nepali, Sanskrit. These languages of different states are used for both private and public affairs in this field.  

Hindi is the official language

The Indian Union declared Hindi as an official language in the year 1950. The Devanagari script in this field is used for the use of Hindi and provided by the Indian constitution and it is stated under Article 343. The statement also says that India is the primary official language of India and more than 1 billion people use this language for communication purposes. Fact says that Hindi became the official language of India in the year 1965.
