4G auctions in India are held under the LTE band. LTE band-40, which covers the 2300 to 2400 MHz (TD-LTE) spectrum band, is now operational and offered by Indian service providers. The Union government is also holding an auction for the 1800 MHz (FDD-LTE) LTE band.

India’s leading fixed-line telecommunications provider, headquartered in New Delhi, serves Mumbai and Delhi and the suburbs of New Delhi, such as Noida, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad and Faridabad, as well as the African island country of Mauritius.
