Short note on Constituency of Cabinet Ministers with Portfolio

The cabinet ministers are the members of the parliament that is of the lower house (Lok Sabha). The members of the parliaments are selected directly by voting of the people of their constituencies. They are the head of the particular department allotted by the prime minister to them.

Presently, there are 543 seats in the Lok Sabha, out of which the Bharatiya Janata Party wins the total seats. The number of seats of the BJP in the Lok Sabha is 352.

In 2014 BJP won the Loksabha elections with a majority, and Narendra Modi became the 14th prime minister of India. There were some females in Modi’s cabinet in 2014. Shushma Swaraj, Uma Bharti, Nirmala sitaraman, and Smriti Irani.

Shushma Swaraj was the minister of external affairs at that time. Shushma Swaraj was born in the year 1952. At the age of 25, she became the cabinet minister in the Haryana government. She also became the fifth chief minister of Delhi and was the first female chief minister of Delhi.

Shushma Swaraj was the senior BJP politician; she was a member of the parliament seven times and three times a member of the legislative assembly. She was also a minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government.

He is the head of the cabinet and takes decisions in making any scheme or policy of any department. The department of atomic energy of space also comes under the hands of the prime minister of India.
  2.  Amit Shah:-Amit Shah is the Home Minister of India. He is a member of the parliament from Gandhinagar, Gujarat. All the Defence and security departments come under the home minister. The heads of CRPF, CBI, and IB report to the home minister.
  3. Rajnath Singh:-Rajnath sing is the minister of defense and is a member of the parliament from the Lucknow constituency. The main task of the defense ministry is to create policies related to defense and security. To maintain the defense budget for purchasing weapons, fighter aircraft etc.
  4. Ashvini Vaishnav:-The departments of the Ministry of Railways, Minister of Communications, and Minister of Electronics and Information Technology come under Ashwini Vaishnav. He is a member of Rajya sabha and is the railway minister. He is responsible for the overall development of the rail department, from the recruitment of the employees to the maintenance of the railway departments like manufacturing of new trains etc.
