But the small gesture always makes the day of the other person no matter how many times he/she might have heard it before. Similarly, the awards given in different fields to different people for their distinguished works make them feel valued and motivate them to do good, better. It also boosts the self-esteem of the person

Award

An award is the most prestigious thing for any person, it is an honour and considered as the token of recognition in excelling at something. The recipient of the award could be a single person, a group of people, or could be an organisation. The awards are mainly an honour that is given to the work that a particular person has done in his/her industry, which is more like a decoration in the house whereas rewards are something which is usually given in return to the person for their service or hardship.

Awards are also an integral part of work /service that in person does, it brings a sense of motivation to that person, and it is a very small step to acknowledge someone’s hard work struggles and talent. It makes the people feel valued and appreciated for all the days and nights they have been putting into the work.  

National Award 

National Awards are the top awards given to a person who is a resident of India. This award ceremony was established in the year 1954, every year there is a national panel that selects the best works of that particular year. The jury panel is decided by the government of India. The whole ceremony is held in the capital i.e., Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi where the President of the country gives the awards.

International Awards 

Similarly, there are also International recognized awards which are given in several categories, the award has an international achievement and is always in the eye of every person.  And one of which is the Academy Awards which are given for the merits in the Film industry. The award was sculpted by George Stanley. It is also said to be the oldest American Award along with the other four which are the Emmy Awards for the Television shows, Tony Awards for the Theatre, and the Grammy Awards for the Music. It was started in the year 1929, and until now it has been presented to 3,140 people for their magnificent performances, worldwide.

The Award is known as the Oscar statuette, it is made of bronze plated with gold that is on the black metal base. The name Oscar was adopted by the academy officially in the year 1939. Every year since 2004 the nominations are announced in the middle of January.
