  • Computers: Computer operator, desktop publishing (DTP), web designing, multimedia animation, and medical transcription.

Skill development programs for small-scale industries

Many government and personal organizations propose industrial skill development programs for small-scale industries. For instance, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), MSME-Development Institute, working under the Ministry of Micro, performs general and product-specific entrepreneurship skill development programs (ESDP) for over one month.

  • A well-known cricket star, Sachin Tendulkar was the brand ambassador of the ‘Skill India’ campaign started under Vocational training made by the ministry for skill development and entrepreneurship (MSDE). The God of cricket said that the campaign was meant for promoting the abilities of the young generation and it’ll be an excellent opportunity for the country to create good use of its young generation. 

  • The Hindi film stars- Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma, were approved as brand ambassadors of the Skill India Mission, a program to back Vocational training led by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The film stars cheered India’s entrepreneurs and skilled workforce, especially homegrown artisans, craftspeople, and weavers who are making the country proud the globe over through their film ‘Sui Dhaga – Made in India’. Varun and Anushka, the movie artists of the film, partnered with Skill India and devoted their time to emphasizing India’s skilled talent and their excellent work by committing with them across different states of the country.

  • The government appointed over 24 brand ambassadors for Industrial Training Institutes, India’s vocational training academies. The approved brand ambassadors were excited to spread the message.

  • The Indian Vocational Training Institute (IVTI) is a career-oriented education center that gives various varieties of training courses for vocational periods. Under the surveillance of specialist faculties, trainer students won’t only learn promising skills but will feel optimistic about their job placements. IVTI is meant for creating opportunities for learners within the fields of Skill-based vocational businesses and employment. They believe in parting and spreading knowledge rather than teaching only.
