Railway Service Commission

The Railway Recruitment Board, which was known as the “Railway Service Commission”, is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Railways. The board conducts examinations for various posts under the jurisdiction of the Government of India. It is a highly competitive exam and is conducted to recruit technical and non-technical staff in the Indian Railways. RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC), RRB Para Medical Staff, RRB Ministerial and Isolated Categories and RRC Level 1 are some of the exams conducted to recruit the right candidates.

There are 21 functional RRBs in India. The recruitment board announces thousands of vacancies every year in order to recruit eligible candidates who can work in the Indian Railways. Candidates who meet the specific eligibility criteria for a particular post can apply for the exam.
