Answer : Ores are a combination of minerals that may be refined into an industrial mineral or chemically processed into one or more metals. Typically, ores containing iron, aluminum, chromium, zinc, mercury, manganese, tungsten, and occasionally copper are treated for a single element.
Ores are subjected to physical techniques of benefit before being treated with chemical procedures to extract metals. Beneficial procedures include the liberation of minerals by crushing and grinding, followed by the separation of each mineral using physical means (gravity, magnetic, etc.) or physicochemical processes.
