Cell Theory was Given By (a) Schleiden and Schwann (b) Virchow (c) Hooke (d) Haeckel

Answer (a) Schleiden and Schwann

In 1855, Virchow added to the cell theory by proposing that all cells originate from other cells. Each cell in an organism is made up of one or more chromosomes, which are the building blocks of structure and function. The Cell Theory is the name given to this idea. Rudolf Virchow added to this in 1858, following the work of Matthias Schleiden and Theodor Schwann, who first proposed the idea.

Cells are the building blocks of all organisms.

Existing cells serve as the building blocks for the production of new ones.

All cells are the same. Finally, cells are the smallest and most fundamental units of all living things.

Cells are the building blocks of living organisms, providing both functionality and structure.
