The Human skeleton system is the main function of a body that helps a person by giving them a proper structure in their body. The movement of a person is also related to this system that assists a person in the process of walking, running, swimming and jumping. Various aspects regarding this process are also going to be discussed in this study that helps to understand this system in a proper way by evaluating all the functions.
Overview of Human skeleton system
The skeleton system is one of the main working processes of the human body that includes 206 bones. All the bones contribute to the overall weight of a human body and it includes tendons, ligaments and cartilage along with all the bones inside the body. There is a huge difference that can be seen in the skeleton system of a male body and a female body. The overall weight of a male skeleton system weighs more than a female skeleton system and as a result, the weight of the male body is always more compared to a female body. It has been seen that the skeleton system of humans is 20% of the overall body weight of a person. The skeleton of a child differs from a fully grown person as this system inside a child is in a development stage. There are two parts that can be seen in this system and they are the appendicular skeleton and axial skeleton.
Various parts of the skeleton system
Appendicular skeleton
The Appendicular skeleton system of the human body consists of 126 bones and it helps in the construction of the hands and legs of a human. There are 30 bones that can be seen inside each arm of a person that makes the overall skeleton system. Pectoral girdles, upper limbs, lower limbs, pelvic girdles are the main components of the Appendicular skeleton of a body. There are also 30 bones that can be seen inside each leg of a person which makes the Appendicular skeleton complete.
Axial skeleton
Overall 80 bones are included inside the axial skeleton stem of a human body and all these bones are inside the vertical axis of the human body. Skull is regarded as one of the main components inside this system. The skull of a human body is made up of 22 bones that are distributed inside facial bones and cranial bones of the human body. Auditory ossicles are the other main parts inside this skeleton system of the human body and it includes stapes, incus, and malleus. The thoracic cage is the cage that is developed inside the chest part of a human body and it consists of 12 pairs on each of the sides. The vertebral column, on the other hand, is one of the main parts inside this system that can help to make the back parts of a human body. These are the main systems that can be found inside the Axial skeleton system of humans.
Functions of the skeleton system
The main function of a human system is to protect the internal system of a human body that can support all the functionality of the body. The main mechanism of a body depends on the skeleton system of the human body. Giving protection to the internal organs is one of the main functions of this system and it can be seen in the context of the skull. Human Skull helps to protect the brain of a person and it is made up of hard bones. All the movements conducted by a person can be possible due to the function of the human skeleton system. The muscles that are placed alongside these bones can also help in overall movement. The production of the blood cells inside a human body can also be supported by this skeleton system and it is one of the main functions of this system. The bone marrow that is present inside the bones helps in this process that produces white and red blood cells as well as platelets. The storage of various nutrients and minerals are supported by this skeleton system of humans as the bones include phosphorus and calcium. Calcium is an immensely important element for giving strength to a human body and lack of calcium can create huge problems in the skeleton system of the human body. It has been seen that if the skeleton system of a man is structured in an improper way, then that person can face huge problems in their life.
Conclusion
Conclusively, the skeleton system is one of the main foundations of the human body and it includes various bones and muscles inside the human body. The lack of functionality can bring in various issues in the life of people and there are various reasons observed that can damage this skeleton system of humans. Various fractures, Arthritis, Cancer, and metabolic diseases inside the bones can create various problems inside this skeleton system that increases the amount of problems faced by a person. Consumption of calcium and Vitamin D on a daily basis can enhance the functionality of the overall skeleton system of the human body. Therefore, all humans need to take proper care of this skeletal system that can provide them various benefits in their life.
