The word socialism is a philosophical term that consists of three important aspects. These aspects are the social aspect, the economic aspect, and lastly the political aspect. It is the doctrine of economy and society, which calls for the public rather than exclusive ownership. Many countries in the world are regarded as socialist countries and India is not apart from the chart. The proper examples of socialism and a socialist country need to be clear. This will help future scholars to understand the whole concept of socialism.

Definition of Socialism

The philosophic term socialism is a political movement that reclines in the revolutionary world of industries. Through a socialist’s view, it has come out that people do not live in isolation rather they love cooperation with one another. The production of people is a kind of ‘social product’ and others who contribute to the products are meant to be a matter of sharing. Furthermore, this socialism term is the exact opposite term of capitalism. The famous philosopher Plato portrays a society of austerity where men and women not only share some of the material goods but also share their partners and children. This was called a society of ‘Guardian’, which was created by the Greek philosopher. People love to work being cooperative rather than working separately while being in isolation. Socialism is all about small but important factors that have a definite discipline. The society that is part of socialism can control the property of the members profitably.

Types of Socialism

From the middle of the 18th century, the ideology of socialism started to spread its roots. Socialism is considered as the political and economic ideology that means of the greater quality of distribution. Socialism can be of various types that are spread worldwide. These types are Utopian socialism, Anarcho socialism, Democratic socialism, Libertarian socialism, and so on. Indian socialism is quite different from those other ones. India has its big historical importance in world politics, thus socialism in India has a reasonable set of ideas and the ways human society needs to be structured. Though India has its political ideologies that are well established and have a good impact worldwide, still the socialist ideas have been categorized in India having a single conception. The socialist ideology does not have a big impact, as many political concepts have been provoking society for a long.

Socialist Countries in the World

There are many countries in the world where socialism has been exercised but they will not be considered socialist countries. Few countries are considered socialists through their economic prospects. While some countries consider themselves as socialists on other hand, few apply socialism to some parts of their countries. For example, the corporation of Mondrago is a federation where a large number of people work for economic development. The countries that have declared themselves socialist countries officially include the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Cuba, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Impacts of Socialism in Society

Socialism all over the world has its positive and negative impacts though the positive parts could be a matter of discussion. The ultimate goal of socialism or in other words the main effect of socialism is the goal of the commonwealth. The government controls the whole system of a country, still, socialism helps labourers and lands and the various resources to be better. The imbalances of wealth are controlled by socialism. It not only hits the different areas, but it also hits the whole society of the country and each class of the society. Socialism can also help to reduce the percentages of insufficient production and the prices of the products can be controlled to some extent. It hits the economic part and improves the whole.

Conclusion

The whole research is putting light on the term socialism and it reflects the differences between socialism and capitalism. The various types of socialism that are discussed shortly in the above study will help future scholars to understand the term. The origin of socialism and its impacts on various countries mainly in India are the main topics for the discussion. It will assist the scholars while working on this study or reading the research paper. Sharing and distributing are the two major concepts of socialism. Overall, the topic explains the whole system that is aligned with this term and its impacts on the global countries.
