A Junior receptionist is a person who helps the senior receptionist in his/her workings of the bureau administration. The list of workings may include working over the software, organising the materials of the office, getting in person over the telephone calls or taking care of the day today undertakings of the office administration. Instead of going up for advanced work in the office, sometimes the work of a junior receptionist is to spend his/her time learning certain protocols of the office.
Application procedure
Kerala public service commission invites the application for the appointment of Junior receptionist under the office of Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited having a scale of pay of about Rs12,070, extending upto Rs 32,830.
- Firstly, the candidates have to register themselves as per the ‘One Time Registration’ process of the department. This has to be done on the authorised website of Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) before moving forward with the application process.
- Now, the candidates will login through the registered user-id and password created in the first step.
- Post that, candidates must click on the ‘Apply now’ button accentuated on the screen and choose the respective job profiles they want to apply for.
- After filling up the form, there comes the option of attaching necessary documents in the application form. It must be remarked that the photograph you attach in the form should have been clicked after 31.12.2010, along with the name and date of photograph taken at the bottom of the photograph.
- Further, KPSC takes no such application fees from the applicants for the post of junior receptionist.
- Lastly, the applicant just has to take out the printout of the application form by clicking on the ‘Registration Card’ button on the desktop.
Things that should be kept in mind before submission
Certain things should be remembered before you submit your application form. You can’t change the necessary information after the final submission. Before the submission, you must ensure:
- All the mandatory information should be accurate and up to date. The applicant must ensure that there should be accuracy in the information.
- You must keep your User-id saved before you finally acknowledge your application for further contact with the administration.
- The applicant should keep his/her age, community and qualification certificates handy with himself/herself, as the office calls up for the same.
- Applicants having an Aadhar Card with them should upload Aadhar card as ID proof asked in the application.
If some way of erroneous and inaccurate data is provided, this will lead to the immediate refusal of the application. However, the Kerala Public Service Commission also has sovereignty to terminate the advice of appointment of any candidate as the junior receptionist in Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd. This can happen if the KPSC finds that the recommendation was made under some kind of mistake by the authority.
