Eligibility Criteria for Junior Receptionist

Age limit 

The age limit for the junior receptionist examination is between 18-36. So, the candidates who are born between the time duration of 02.01.1986 to 01.01.2004 should only apply for this post under the Kerala Public Service Commission. Notably, the Scheduled caste and Scheduled tribe candidates are eligible for gaining a usual age relaxation in the application for this government post. 

The reserved categories of the society should keep their certificates with them to prove their reservation. However, the people in regular jobs won’t be considered for the selection under these reservations, they can apply as a normal and unreserved category. Apart from that, the person should have an interim service certificate speaking of their period of regular service. 

Qualifications 

There are certain qualifications specified by the Kerala Public Service Commission for this category of junior receptionist post in the Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited. They are: 

  1. The applicant should be a graduate of an acknowledged university.
  2. He/She should have at least 2 years experience in any reputed organisation as a junior or senior receptionist.
  3. There is also a desirable capability for this post mentioned by the Kerala Public Service Commission. The person applying should preferably have proficiency in telephone operation. This would add to the selection.

However, it should also be noted that if a person has an equivalent qualification as that mentioned in the notice, relevant documents should be provided for the same to prove the equivalence of these qualifications. Besides, the reserved category candidates are also required to present their non-creamy layer certificates at the time of the document verification. If the applicant ceases to provide the above documents or if the information is false then strict disciplinary action will be taken against them for their false conduct.
