NaHCO3

The crystalline structure of sodium bicarbonate, also known as sodium hydrogen carbonate, is monoclinic. It was in the year 1791 that Nicolas Leblanc, a French chemist, discovered sodium carbonate. Austin Church and John Dwight, two New York-based bakers, founded the world's first facility dedicated to the production of baking soda in 1846.

It is a white solid crystalline chemical compound that is normally found in the form of a powder. This salt is made up of sodium ions and bicarbonate ions, respectively. NaHCO3 is the molecular formula for this compound. It is a shaky foundation. It is frequently referred to as baking soda and is used in the preparation of baked goods. The PH value is approximately 8.31.

The Structure of Sodium Bicarbonate (NaHCO3)

An overdose of sodium bicarbonate can cause shortness of breath, muscle spasms, mood swings, jerks, and fits, among other symptoms. When providing sodium bicarbonate to individuals suffering from kidney failure, high blood pressure, heart failure, or kidney stones, extreme caution must be exercised to avoid causing harm.
