The CSIR NET syllabus 2023 covers the five different subjects given below:

The question paper contains MCQs which will carry a maximum of 200 marks.
CSIR NET Syllabus 2023: Part A
The CSIR NET syllabus 2023: Part A will be common for all the subjects. Part A comprises a test that will have questions related to General Aptitude. Candidates must answer 15 out of 20 questions. Each question carries 2 marks. Part A will carry a total of 30 marks out of 200.
The syllabus of Part A covers topics related to reasoning, quantitative aptitude, data interpretation and graphical analysis.
CSIR NET Syllabus 2023: Part B & C
The CSIR NET syllabus 2023: Part B will contain MCQs that are subject-related. A maximum of 20 to 35 questions must be attempted by the candidates. The total number of marks awarded to this part is 70 out of 200.
The CSIR NET syllabus 2023: Part C will contain questions that are of higher value. These questions are application-level and are prepared to test the candidate’s knowledge of various scientific concepts as well as the application of such concepts. The questions are of higher value and are mostly analytical as candidates must apply the concepts to figure out solutions. The total number of marks awarded to this part is 100 out of 200.
