Class 10, 12 CBSE Results

CBSE declared the results of classes 10th and 12th on 12th May. More than thirty-eight lakh students all over India registered for CBSE board exams. 21,65,805 students appeared for the CBSE class 10th examination with a passing percentage of 93.12%. This indicates a decrease in pass percentage from the previous year by 1.28%. However, the passing percentage of 2023 surpassed the passing percentage of covid period in 2019 with 91.10%. More than 38 lakh students were supposed to appear for the CBSE examination this year. 

16,60,511 students appeared for the CBSE class 12th examination with a passing percentage of 87.33%. This indicates a decrease in pass percentage from the previous year by 5.38%. Trivandrum region was the highest performing, with a total pass percentage of 99.1%. In addition, the Prayagraj region was the lowest performing with a total pass percentage of 78.05%.

CBSE also recognised students who performed talk in class 10th as well as class 12th. CBSE awarded merit certificates to 1% of all students in each subject. The top 0.1% of students were also given merit certificates in addition to ₹5000 scholarship per month for 2 years. 

Steps to check Class 10, and 12 CBSE results

  • Visit the official CBSE website: cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.gov.in.
  • Click on the required link for class 12th or class 10th results.
  • Enter student information such as admit card ID, centre number, school number, and roll number.
  • Click on the submit option.
  • The required CBSE class examination results will be displayed on the screen. A screenshot or printout of the result can be taken for future reference.

Conclusion

Twenty-six countries, as well as 28,471 schools in India, were a part of the CBSE class 10th examination. There were more than 7,200 exam centres and 24,400 schools. 11,137 schools participated in the class 12th CBSE examination. Also, the recommendations by the national education policy 2020 resulted in the change of provisions for compartment examinations. Compartment examinations are now changed to supplementary examinations. Through these examinations, class 12th students are allowed to improve their performance only in one subject. These examinations will be held in July 2023.
