Miscellaneous question meaning:

Miscellaneous meaning including a variety of items or members. Miscellaneous questions are questions that cover a wide range of themes and situations. “Miscellaneous” is described by Merriam-Webster as “a wide range of things of various kinds.” As a result, when someone asks a number of different questions on a variety of topics, they are asking a lot of distinct questions.

Miscellaneous questions are crucial for students studying for SSC, bank examinations, and other competitive exams. Miscellaneous questions are frequently posed in competitive exams. As a result, students should practice these various questions and answers in order to develop their knowledge and thinking abilities.

Miscellaneous questions in maths:

Some examples of miscellaneous questions are as follows,

1.Find the numbers if the sum of three numbers in A.P. is 24 and their product is 440.

Solution:

Consider the three A.P. numbers as a – d, a, and a + d.

Then, based on the question,

24 = (a – d) + (a) + (a + d) (i)

24 = 3a

a = 8

And,

(a-d) a (a + d) = 440 (ii)

440 = (8 – d) (8) (8 + d)

(8 – d) = 55 (8 + d)

64 – d2= 55

d2 = 9

d = ± 3

Thus,

The numerals 5, 8, and 11 are used when d = 3.

The integers are 11, 8, and 5 when d = –3.

As a result, the three numbers are 5, 8, and 11 respectively.

2.Find out a sum of numbers between 200 and 400 which can be divided by 7.

Solution:

Number between 200 & 400, divisible  by 7 are 203, 210, 217,…399

The first term is let a.

a = 203

Last term let I ,

I = 399

Common difference let d

d = 7

Number of terms of the A.P. let n.

Let nth term be a’

a’ = 399 = a + (n-1)d

399 = 203 + (n-1)7

7(n-1) =196

n-1= 28

n = 29

The sum is then,

29/2 (203+399) = 8729 = S29

The required sum is thus 8729.

Conclusion:

Thus in this study we know about miscellaneous questions and answers. Miscellaneous questions are the variety of questions in mixed topics which are actually very helpful in any competitive exams. As well as for higher order thinking development it is very helpful.
