Who appoints the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly?

Ans : The President appoints the speaker of the legislative assembly. Generally, once the election in the country is over, a list of the Lok Sabha members is prepared. The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs prepares it.

Then a pro tem speaker is chosen. Meanwhile, the list is then sent to the President for approval.
