Pigments Systems _A group of pigment molecules which absorb light energy is called a pigment system.Each pigment system has a reaction centre and several hundreds of accessory pigments.Photosystem1 has more chlorophyll _a molecules and small number of chlorophyll _b molecules.The reaction centre is P700.Photosystem2 has more chlorophyll _b and small number of chlorophyll _a molecules.The reaction centre is P680.
