The political, administrative, social-cultural, Economic, Military & Technological History of the Gupta Period, i.e. between c.300 AD to 550 AD. This course is about the Gupta Period that spans roughly from 300 AD to 550 AD, almost two and a half centuries. There were all round developments and radical changes in India during this period in perhaps every field known at that time. The first four lessons will pertain to the Political history and the others will deal with society, art and culture, economy and polity of the empire.
