The Gupta polity is quite cumbersome to study, surmise and summarize. It covers so many details that it became inevitable to split the whole into two inter-related parts : 1. The first one will deal with the institutions and structure of the system 2. The second one will also cover the various notions and policies. In this particular lesson, an overview of the administrative structure is explained.
