Desert desert is found at arid places, where there is lack of vegetation. Cultivation of Millet (Bajra) , pulses etc can be grown on the availability of water. It is found in most Rajasthan. Mountain soil is found in the Himalayan region of India, this soil is less deep. मरुस्थलीय मृदा शुष्क स्थानों पर पाई जाती है, जहां वनस्पति का आभाव होता है। पानी के मिलने पर इसमें बाजरा, दलहन आदि फसलें उगाई जा सकती है। यह सर्वाधिक राजस्थान में पाई जाती है। पर्वतीय मृदा भारत के हिमालय क्षेत्र में पाई जाती है, यह मृदा कम गहरी होती है।
