In addition to soil erosion, there are many problems of soil which includes acidity, alkalinity, problem of beans, problem of water, lack of agricultural information, excessive use of chemical fertilizers etc. Therefore, control over these is necessary. मृदा अपरदन के अतिरिक्त भी मृदा की अनेक समस्याएं होती है जिनमे अम्लीयता, क्षारीयता, सेम की समस्या, जलाधिक्य की समस्या, कृषि सम्बन्धी जानकारी का अभाव, रासायनिक उर्वरकों का अधिक उपयोग आदि शामिल है। अतः इन पर नियंत्रण आवश्यक है।
