Points to remember Revise your yesterday's study plan when starting your studies the next day (At Least for 30 minutes) Whatever you studied, apply it in practise through UPSC previous year papers (Last 10 Years) See where you are going wrong in attempting MCQs and strengthen that concept further so that you don't commit mistake on that concept in the actual exam

Example: Mohenjodaro, Harappa, Kalibangan, Dholavira Religious and Cultural activities - Script and language, Art and Crafts ( seals, pottery, paintings)


  7. Topics to be covered/revised Ancient History Vedic Period (1500 BC- 1000 BC) Features of the society - family structure, marriage, status of women, caste system Economic life and Political Organisation Culture and Religion


  8. Topics to be covered/revised Ancient History Vedic Period (1500 BC- 1000 BC) Literature during Vedic times- Vedas, Upanishads, Dharma Shastras, Puranas and their teachings (a broad idea) Six systems of Philosophy - Important features and differences Changes that occured in later vedic phase
