thankyou sir.....
GI (Geographical Indications)tag in my own words is an exclusive authority authority like a license to use a particular brand name or logo. It is associated with the in-situ traditional or indeginous goods of a region , which gets its name after the place for its speciality in quality or characteristics. usually an agri /handicraft product . In maharashtra we have the Nashik Grapes as a famous example.
thank you for this target today. even though i have achieved this.. i will revise and cover what i didnt earlier.... GI tag is a exclusive authority like a license to use a particular brand name or logo.. no one else can use it... if they do they can be sued. God bless you sir..
To have GI tag a product must have specific geographical origin and have reputation due to that origine .
Goodmorning sir 🌞 Day 16 Thankyou for the guidance 🙏
  1. Prelims 65 Days Plan Day -16 UPSC Prelims 2019

  2. Points to remember Revise your yesterday's study plan when starting your studies the next day (At Least for 30 minutes) Whatever you studied, apply it in practise through UPSC previous year papers (Last 10 Years) See where you are going wrong in attempting MCQs and strengthen that concept further so that you don't commit mistake on that concept in the actual exam

  3. Strategy for the next 65 days According to plan, the present subject to revise is: Indian Geography - Day 13 to Day 16

  4. Day 16 Indian Geography UPSC Prelims 2019

  5. Which books to read? NCERT - Geography-Class 9,1 NCERT Geography-Class 11 'India : Physical Environment India Year Book- Land and the People 0 'Contemporary India-l& Il PMFIAS Notes

  6. Topics to be covered/revised Various important parts of Indian Geography Soils in India Alluvial Black .Red . Laterite

  7. Topics to be covered/revised Various factors associated with soils Location (found where) & how they are formed Characteristics (Color, acidic/basic, fertility) Crops grown (Best suitable crops vs the crops currently being grown on these soils)

  8. Topics to be covered/revised Degradation of soils Soil Erosion Sheet erosion, gully erosion, formation of ravines Causes of soil erosion - Salinization, alkalinity, acidification of soil Soil Conservation - Usage of Crop rotation, Contoungeracing

  9. Important point to note Direct questions from soil types are not appearing in Prelims lately Instead related topics like first Indian state to adopt organic farming etc are seern So more focus should be put on CA and it should be connected to static portion
